Through this partnership, ProRata.ai will use Wikimedia Enterprise APIs to surface high-quality, human-made Wikimedia content within their new search engine, Gist.ai.

The Gist.ai search engine initially intends to use the Snapshot API to deliver the most up-to-date results, as well as the On-demand Structured Contents endpoint so that, when we provide attribution to Wikipedia in an answer, users can easily link directly to the relevant source material on Wikipedia.Gist.ai places the importance of publishers and content creators at the core of its search engine by emphasizing thorough attribution and transparent, auditable content usage reporting. We believe these practices support the symbiotic information ecosystem that all Internet users depend on.
