Nonprofits Bridging Tech and Social Impact
Wikimedia Enterprise would like to invite you to a special event at NeurIPS on Wednesday December 11th. This in-person event where we will explore the intersections between nonprofit organizations and the tech community in the current AI/ML environment with two of the most used datasets for training large language models. Learn about the goals, projects, research, and challenges facing the open commons community from our own Christopher Petrillo and Prabhat Tiwary from Wikimedia Foundation, and Rich Skrenta, Stephen Burns, and Greg Lindahl from Common Crawl Foundation.
Light refreshments will be provided along with a Q&A session where you can meet our team and mingle with other industry leaders who support social impact in technology. In case you cannot make the event, we will be at the conference all week and would love to make time to chat about our work.

About NeurIPS
NeurIPS conference was founded in 1987 and is now a multi-track interdisciplinary annual meeting that includes invited talks, demonstrations, symposia, and oral and poster presentations of refereed papers. Along with the conference is a professional exposition focusing on machine learning in practice, a series of tutorials, and topical workshops that provide a less formal setting for the exchange of ideas.
